The Celtics still have the best team on paper, but they also caught plenty of breaks on their road to the NBA Finals.
Granted, chances are they would’ve still beaten any healthy opponent they came across last season, but it’s not like they were truly battle-tested.
With that in mind, NBA analyst — and bonafide Celtics fan — Bill Simmons talked about the biggest threat they could face next season.
In the latest edition of his podcast, he talked about how the Milwaukee Bucks, not the New York Knicks or Philadelphia 76ers, could make life difficult for them (via The Ringer).

Simmons argued that no one has beaten a healthy Giannis Antetokounmpo since 2022.
Simmons argues that the Bucks still have a deep and solid roster and made a couple of interesting additions, but Giannis’ dominance and consistency could be the biggest factor here.
The Bucks are being overlooked right now.
Perhaps because of how good other teams got, perhaps because of Doc Rivers, or perhaps because of a disappointing first season for Damian Lillard.
Now, they shall prove the doubters wrong.
